1. Choose your joystick
The Sanwa JLF is the industry-standard arcade joystick: light actuation, a square gate, and the choice of most professional fight stick builders. The Sanwa JLX offers a shorter throw for players who prefer quicker, more precise inputs. Both are genuine Sanwa parts and drop-in replacements for most fight stick cases.
2. Choose your 30 mm buttons
Your fight stick's main buttons are usually 30 mm. Sanwa makes several mechanisms to choose from — OBSF (snap-in), OBSN (screw-in, narrow bezel), OBSC (screw-in), OBSJ and the quieter OBSFE Silent — in a wide range of colours.
3. Choose your 24 mm buttons
Smaller 24 mm buttons are typically used for Start, Select and other secondary functions. The same Sanwa mechanisms and colours are available in this size, so you can match the finish of your main buttons.
4. Choose your ball top, dust washer and accessories
Finish your joystick with a ball top in the colour of your choice, plus a matching dust washer and any other accessories you need.

5. Add the cable
